This friday I’m gonna be dropping some musical goodness here, but you gotta be early cause i’m on 9-10:30, then catch the rest of my back butter family also playing equally good musical bits….

Bo!

Urban Nerds return with a bass charged Halloween special and the ultimate new venue, London Bridge’s Crucifix Lane! Hitting this raw warehouse style club space for the first time, we take to the cavernous tunnels located just next to London Bridge station to see in the spookiest night of the year and warm-up for our return to Snowbombing festival 2012!

This year’s Halloween line-up will feature an enormous dubstep heavyweight and scene originator for his first Nerds set…the mighty Hatcha! Headlining is one of 2011s biggest rising DJ duos and latest MTA records recruits KillSonik and joining them, the return of one of our favourite grime collectives the OGs plus Urban Nerds family Marcus NastyKlose One and Rattus Rattus!

Room 2 will be hosted by Black Butter Records, a huge underground label on the rise, coming with bass, d&b, jungle and grime flavours.

STIK A ROCK
27 -10 -2011
From the man himself…
“Dear Friends,

I am pleased to invite you to celebrate the opening of my first solo show entitled ‘Stik A Rock’ at Number Six, Dray Walk on Thursday 27th October. The exhibition features a range of individual hand crafted letters which are created using a mixture of hand cut and laser cut layers; as well as a collection of other unique pieces including a variety of graffiti hand styles.

The private view runs from 6pm until 9pm; as you browse the work on show you’ll be able to stay hydrated with some Havana Club rum and Greenwich Meantime lager, whilst indulging in some Stik A Rock sticks of rock straight from Brighton beach! There will also be some free mini prints and goody bags available so you wont go home empty handed.

The exhibition closes at the end of January so if you are unable to make this event then rest assured there will be ample opportunity to check it out. Also feel free to have a little look at some of the previews on the blog…

Please RSVP to either myself or Leila leila@spin-agency.com
